In addition to the sea and the clean broad beach that always put you into a real good mood, Noordwijk offers a very rich cultural life. With nice little museums, cultural attractions, events and theatre you can live it up here when it comes to culture.

The different events as for example Opera aan Zee (Opera at the Sea), open air theatre performances, BeeldenBoulevard, Kunst in Duin (Art in the Dunes) and the Schilderfestival (Painters’Festival) care for it that on the cultural level there is always something to do in Noordwijk all summer long. The events are one for one of high quality and in many cases free of charge. With many events the sea plays an important role. Sometimes as scenography, then again as a source of inspiration and often as a podium of the arts.
